Global Grants
CJRF makes grants that create an impact from the local to the global through joint advocacy, peer learning, and knowledge sharing among regions facing similar climate justice issues. The following are some examples of our partners work:
Global advocacy organizations are working with women, indigenous people, and grassroots organizations to connect local voices to the national and global decision makers who govern large amounts of climate finance.
Young women and trans youth are collaborating globally to build solidarity, democratize philanthropy, and make sure feminist climate action is well funded.
Indigenous people are collaborating to build a philanthropic institution that honors traditional knowledge, culture, and spirituality through its grant criteria, selection process, and monitoring system.
Grants that have been renewed or expanded include multiple grant amounts. Renewed and expanded grants demonstrate our efforts to build deeper relationships with partners and invest in promising efforts to build voice and power for those hit hardest by climate impacts.
