A Youth-Led Shake-up for Action
In 2019 young people around the world stood up as leaders and sounded the alarm on climate change. As youth engage in climate advocacy to protect their own futures, they need support. Our two-year, $354,208 grant supports Youth Climate Lab to equip young people in Bangladesh and the Canadian Arctic with the skills and experience necessary to lead collective action and implement community-driven solutions. This work to strengthen a generation of leaders shakes up the status quo and increases climate justice action.

Why Youth Climate Lab?
As an organization created and led by youth, Youth Climate Lab works to accelerate youth impact on climate policy, projects and businesses. After only two years in operation, their ability to connect and engage with youth in places as diverse as Bangladesh and the Canadian Arctic shows the considerable momentum behind their approach.
