Spotlighting the Importance of Climate Justice

Grassroots movements are critical for building real political power amongst those hardest hit by climate change and systemic injustice. Our two-year, $300,000 grant to the CLIMA Fund (Climate Leaders In Movement Action) supports the Fund’s efforts to promote the work of grassroots climate justice activists building powerful movements. Under this grant, they will support grassroots groups to develop new narratives and communications products to get word out about their work. Meanwhile, CLIMA itself will develop short videos to help audiences better understand the power of grassroots movements for building resilience and fighting climate change.
