Strengthening Regional Learning on NELD in East Africa

CJRF’s program of work on non-economic loss and damage (NELD) includes 34 grants to partners across four geographies – the Bay of Bengal, East Africa, the Pacific Islands, and the Andes Highlands. Each region has a Regional Learning Partner to support partners in their learning processes and gather lessons, stories, and evidence about non-economic loss and damage. SouthSouthNorth is the Regional Learning Partner for NELD grants in the East Africa region.

Why South South North?

SouthSouthNorth has a strong background in decolonized approaches to learning, and experience with learning processes including managing the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN). They also very effectively shift lessons from the local to global scales through advocacy and communications.
