Ritu Gupta, Gender Integration and Resource Coordinator – Loss and Damage Program

Ritu brings a unique perspective to the field of feminist project and program management, with over 15 years of experience in both the private and international development sectors. As a feminist and gender equality practitioner, she has supported clients with resource mobilization, organization development, conducting feminist evaluations, and gender audits. Her past role as a program manager for Gender at Work, an international feminist knowledge network, further solidified her expertise. Ritu has researched and written on issues such as gender identities, child marriage, and domestic workers’ rights.

Before transitioning to the development sector in 2017, she honed her skills in the management consulting industry for over nine years. Her experience includes a notable stint with IBM India as a project management analyst.

Ritu holds an MA in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies, the University of Sussex, and a B.A. in English (Honours) from Calcutta University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) practitioner. Currently, she is pursuing her training in Emergent Learning.

She likes to paint, go for long walks, and sip tea. She is currently based in Kolkata, India.
